DIGITALLY PRINTED COVERS
We work with a few local printers if you are in need of any digitally printed covers for your vinyl series. It takes about 3 weeks for the covers to be printed.
Available in single-colour, four-colour, single-sided, double-sided, full-surface or detailed printing. The covers are available with one, two or no centre holes. The are available with standard finish.
Made from standard 300g paperboard. Both disco bags (no spine) and standard covers with a 3mm spine are available.
For 12" / 10" / 7" - only available in certain quantities (1x, 5x, 10x, 25x, 50x)
Make sure your images are 300dpi and are either AI, PDF, TIF, or PSD files. Please follow all specifications listed below.
PRINTING SPECIFICATIONS
- Resolution
• 300 dpi
- Formats
• PDF, TIFF, AI
- Fonts
• Embed all fonts or if this isn't possible, create outlines for all text.
- Data Format / Trim Marks
• Layout WITH NO any marks / cutting lines
• Layout including margin addition (5mm bleed)
• Don't put any important information in 5mm from trim
• Flatten transparencies
- Color Mode
• CMYK or Grayscale
• Black and White layouts with pure black,
if possible (C0 M0 Y0 K100)
- Check if your files are print-ready
Checking whether the resolution is high enough, can easily be done in a PDF reader or image software. Open your file and set the image to at least 200%. What you see now is about the quality in which your file will be printed, since the human eye can see so close up on a print. If it doesn't look good enough > adjust your files (300dpi / dimensions to scale).
- Convert to vector when you can
Vector files provide some of the best printing results. Zoom in very close on your print file to see if the edges, especially the curves and fonts, are still razor-sharp, then that element is made in vector and things will be extra crisp. You can have both vector and image in the same file.

PRINTED INSERTS
Printed inserts are another option for doing record artwork. The inserts are fitted, and slide into the PVC covers.
Available in single-colour, four-colour, single-sided, or double-sided on 250gsm coated paper (semi-gloss or glossy). Leave about 3 weeks time for doing this kind of printing option.
For 12" / 10" / 7" / 5" formats, at any quantity. If you have something specific in mind, let us know !
